Since 1989 The Edging Company has specialised in handcrafting to your specification area rugs made from coir, sisal, jute and carpet, finished with a selection of edging treatments.

A favourite of interior design professionals, these durable rugs are perfect partners for hard surface floors and are popular in homes as well as commercial areas.

Each rug is cut to suit the client’s specification and edged with a variety of bindings such as suede, leather, linen and Australian cotton tape.

A deluxe binding method is used, blindstitched (a technique used to conceal the stitching) the corners are mitred and a considerable amount of handstitching is involved in the making of each rug.
